Panton Chair Classic is the original version of the Panton chair designed by Verner Panton in 1960. The chair was put into batch production seven years later in collaboration with Vitra. The Panton Chair is the first chair ever produced in a single piece of plastic. Not until 1999 could the chair be produced according to its original design. This was achieved with the help of durable, colored plastic with a glossy and matt finish. Panton Chair Classic has a playful look and is available in several colors.
