Opal Table Lamp Midi from the Carl Hansen brand was created by Hans J. Wegner in 1973 as part of a lamp collection for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. The lamp has an asymmetric shade in opal colored acrylic with a top in lacquered aluminium. The light that spreads through the screen is soft and directed, which makes the lamp well suited for both offices and living rooms. The design is characterized by a combination of angled screens and straight lines, which gives a modern expression.
