Omer Arbel is the designer behind the 57.3 Floor High lamp from Bocci. The modern lamp has a minimalist frame of untreated brass or metal with a black, rubberized finish. The floor lamp is 180 cm high but is also available in a smaller version measuring 90 cm. What really makes the 57.3 Floor High stand out from the crowd is its three unique glass domes. Using a technique commonly used to produce foam, Omer Arbel and Bocci have created air spaces of different sizes and configurations in a glass form. The result is a shape reminiscent of a rain cloud. The different air spaces are invisible when the floor lamp is switched off but come to life and reveal an inner universe when the lamp is switched on. This innovative manufacturing process makes each 57.3 Floor High unique.
