This creates an impressive cohesion and stability, with a unique construction that highlights the natural beauty and functionality of the wood.
The designer Thomas Benzen about the design : "Cover sprung from a desire to create a comfortable frame chair in wood. I aimed for a crisp and strong expression in the plywood while looking for a solid grounded expression for the frame and the base of the chair itself. Three years of play and hard work have resulted in a light yet strong frame chair where the use of molded veneer has been taken to the extreme."
