Elling Buffet is a brand from the Italian goods brand Cassina. The design was drawn up as early as 1919, and was then used, among other things, in the model houses created by J.P. Oud for Spargen in Rotterdam. The original model was built in a fire and was only rebuilt under supervision in 1951 for an exhibition in Amsterdam. Today, Cassina is producing Elling Buffet for the first time, in collaboration with designer Gerrit T. Rietveld. The clean lines of the skeleton's structure create a grid based on a structural core, to which surfaces and sounds are added.
