Avolt lighting

Avolt is a Swedish design studio that specialises in creating elegant solutions for extending the power supply to electrical devices. The products are both practical and elegant, combining functionality with sophisticated design. Perfect for private homes, offices, shops and public spaces. The design brand is based on the premise that everyday electrical solutions should not compromise on aesthetics and design.

Modern design and geometric shapes

The design of the products is inspired by futurist Bruno Munari's Square Circle Triangle trilogy. This design philosophy celebrates simple and geometric shapes, the design language that has characterised humanity throughout the history of design.

In 2019, Avolt was nominated for the Swedish Design Prize. In the same year, they were also awarded the Red Dot Design Award for their product Square 1. The jury's motivation was: "The uncompromisingly minimalist use of forms and sustainability focused production make the design of the Square 1 stand out".
