The Coppélia chandelier was designed by Japanese designer Arihiro Miyake for Moooi in 2015. Miyake took inspiration for this design from the ballet of the same name. Miyake is renowned for beautiful creations that are technically advanced, as is the case with Coppélia. It is a chandelier of modern design, with clean lines that create a stunning illusion. The chandelier's frame is made of electrolytically polished stainless steel, and the chandelier is surrounded by cylindrical polycarbonate shades which allow a warm light to spread throughout the room. The suspension is also made of electrolytically polished stainless steel, and the crown is suspended on a transparent cable. Coppélia is available in two sizes and is suitable as a central light source for both living rooms and dining rooms.
