The elegant side tables Pathos Round Small Table is designed by Antonio Cittero year 2011 for Italian Maxalto. The Italian designer and architect Citterio is well known in the field of furniture design and architecture. He has designed for a number of furniture manufacturers, including B&B Italia, and is also the sole designer for B&B Italia's elegant Maxalto brand. With clean and simple lines and solid materials, he creates timeless and classic furniture for the home.

The Pathos series includes a range of side and coffee tables, all characterised by the x-shaped base (except for the smaller side tables) in either nickel-plated or lacquered steel. On the base rests a beautiful lacquered MDF top that is oval and comes in different sizes depending on the model of table. The material MDF stands for Medium Density Fibreboard. Itis a very durable and tough softwood fibreboard thatis built up in a board. The Pathos Round Small Table is available in several different finishes.
