Albini Desk was designed by Franco Albini for Knoll in 1928. Albini is a desk in a period, exclusive design, where the materials glass, steel, and wood are combined elegantly. The desk has a rectangular tempered clear glass top resting on an x-shaped base of chrome and polished steel. The desk lid is placed on the right side of the table, leaving an airy space between the table top and the lid. The lip is made of oak and is available in two variants, with a black stained or white lacquered finish. A stained finish allows the natural structure and grain of the wood to remain visible, which is a subtle detail, visible through the glass top.
