Double is a sophisticated, wave-shaped lamp from Italian Foscarini, created by Valerio Bottin in 1996. It is made of mouth-blown glass with a lacquered metal base, which can accommodate two bulbs with E27 sockets. Double is available in two different colors to choose from, with the ivory white version providing more warm white light than the glossy white. It has both upward and downward dimples, which diffuse light in these directions but also diffuse light through the glass. Double and its discreet look will fit well in most homes and can be placed in the hallway or living room, for example. No lightbulbs are included.
