413 Cab is a stylish leather armchair created by Mario Bellini for the Italian brand Cassina. This is the main product in Cassina's Cab furniture series and the chair was put into production in 1977. The chair has an enameled steel frame with leather upholstery that fastens with a zipper. The saddle leather is available in several colors and as pigmented saddle leather. The seat is upholstered with cold foam.
All the furniture in the collection is designed according to the idea of the true meaning of furniture, which according to Mario Bellini is - to function as an extension of the body. The chair is now part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
