The CH58 Low Stool is a bar stool in solid oak and stainless steel that comes with a padded and leather-covered seat. The bar stool was designed in 1985 by Hans J. Wegner for the Danish company Carl Hansen & Søn. The upholstered seat is available in several different leathers and colors, which you can then combine with a frame in either soaped, oiled, clear-lacquered, white-oiled, or black-lacquered oak. The footrest always comes in stainless steel, regardless of the finish you choose. We also offer the CH58 Low Stool in solid walnut.
The CH58 Low Stool specifically comes with a seat height of 68 centimeters and is designed to work at, for example, a kitchen island. The taller model, CH56, shares the same design language but comes with a seat height of 76 centimeters for use at a bar table or counter. However, it is always important to measure before purchasing a bar stool to make the right choice for your home. A good rule of thumb is that there should be approximately 25-30 centimeters between the seat and the tabletop to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable seating experience.
