Tratten (the funnel) was designed back in the 1960s by Hans Agne Jakobsson in Markaryd for Örsjö Belysning. Today, the funnel is considered a classic, originally designed for outdoor use, and comes in two finishes, copper or brass. The materials develop a patina over time and wear with age.
Like Hans Agne Jakobsson's other products, the funnel is made of materials that contribute to a pleasant and glare-free light. Our range also includes a smaller version of the classic wall lamp, see Tratten Mini.Please note that copper is a natural material and that the copper variant is delivered without surface treatment. As it is untreated, a patina will form over time and depending on where the product is placed. The raw copper will also change in the process of time and the copper takes on a more even tarnish.
