The Empire chair is designed by cabinet maker and designer Sami Kallio for NO GA. Its shape is inspired by 1920s architecture, adding elegant detailing to its design. The chair’s frame is made from FSC-certified solid ash, paired with a woven seat crafted using custom-made webbing. The webbing is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester yarn, enhancing water and moisture resistance. The seat provides excellent support and comfort and the cotton girth prevents sagging over time. The Empire chair is manufactured in Poland with a frame in CNC machined solid ash, ensuring precision in every curve and joint. Its clean lines and natural finish highlight the wood's texture and grain. The chair is stackable and available in four lacquered finishes; a natural wooden finish, a dark wooden finish, black and green.
