057 Civil Bench without cushion from Cassina was designed by Pierre Jeanneret in 1955–1956. The stool is part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, which is a tribute to the designer's work. When designing the bench, the designer was inspired by modern European ideals and traditional Indian spirit. 057 Civil Bench consists of three seat elements supported by a single front bar and two V-shaped side supports. The seat has the typical rattan weave seen throughout the collection. The bench comes in teak wood. We also offer the bench with seat cushion here.
