Servomuto is a side table by Zanotta of Italy, designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1974 for the Servi range by Achille Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The side table is stylishly designed, made with a polypropylene base and steel column base painted either white or black. The round top is made of plastic laminate and is also available in black or white. Servomuto can thus be ordered in three different versions, all black or white, or with a contrasting top. Matching clothes stands, towel rails, ashtrays and umbrella stands by Zanotta are also available in the same design. These work well together. Servomuto is exhibited at a number of museums around the world, including the Thessaloniki Design Museum in Greece, the Kunstgewerbemuseum in Berlin, the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Cologne, the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Fondazione Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
