Unna Table is a stylish and practical dining table, designed by Monica Förster for Zanat of Bosnia. This version comes with a pull-out top but is also available with a fixed top. Zanat is a Bosnian brand with a focus on genuine craftsmanship in wood and traditional carvings; this is particularly evident in the details of the Unna Table pull-out dining table.
Unna Table is handcrafted in solid wood, yet it is both lightweight and stylish. Choose from several natural woods with clear lacquered, white oiled or black stained finishes. Unna Table with fixed top is ideal for seating four for everyday use. This extendable version is available in two versions with up to 8 or 10 seats by adding one or two extension leaves. Each extension leaf adds 50 cm to the length of the table. When not in use, the leaf is conveniently stored under the table in a discreet compartment.
The leaves are not only part of Unna Table's practical function but are also at the heart of the table's design idiom. Monica Förster has applied Zanat's UNESCO-nominated technique of traditional woodcarving to create unique extension leaves that stand out. They are adorned with beautifully carved patterns made by hand.
