Table S.A.M. Bois is a dining table designed in 1941 by Jean Prouvé for Vitra. The table has a minimalist design made of solid wood. The threads and the rod that hold the table together are made of powder-coated steel. The table is reminiscent of Prouvé's table Guéridon, which experiments with Prouvé's idea of a simple construction. This is his signature, which is reflected in all his works in one way or another. It is a beautiful and robust dining table that is tasteful and simple in its shape and lines.
