Hvidt Mølgaard, a Danish architectural duo, designed the Boomerang HM1 as early as 1956 and put it into production by the brand &tradition over 70 years later. The Boomerang HM1 was launched at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2020 together with the HM2 model, the only difference being whether it has an armrest. You can see strong traces of Danish design gold throughout the design and its lack of ugly details, which makes it a perfect fit for the &tradition collection.
&tradition's Boomerang HM1 consists of a decorative solid wood frame that is available in oiled walnut and white oiled oak. The wood is combined with narrow tubular legs in brass. The soft cushions adorning the back and seat are filled with HR foam and polyester padding. This can then be covered up with lots of different fabrics, in a vast collection of colors. However, we at Nordiska Galleriet have displayed a wide fabric selection that &tradition offers with shorter delivery times.
