Tallum was founded in 2018 by Johannes Norlander and Kim Lidman with the mission to breathe new life into the masterpieces of some of the most prominent Scandinavian modernists. Tallum's idea is to revive the rich history of architects designing furniture in Sweden. Tallum is a contemporary commentary that seeks to highlight the most exciting works from the 20th century.

All Tallum's furniture is proudly made in Sweden, with main suppliers in Småland. Each piece of furniture is carefully assembled, adjusted and shipped from Tallum's factory just outside Stockholm. Tallum collaborates with suppliers who guarantee high quality and who are dedicated to traditional craftsmanship and appreciate the value of originality. As the designs originate from a time of different production techniques and standards, Tallum invests in reviving lost knowledge and methods to ensure the authenticity of our products.

Tallum is the official producer of furniture designed by legendary architects Sigurd Lewerentz, Gunnar Asplund and Bernt Nyberg. Each piece of furniture is licensed and certified by the families of these architects, whose commitment is essential to maintain authenticity. Tallum has the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute these iconic designs worldwide.
