In 1956, designer and architect Arne Jacobsen was commissioned to design a clock for Rødovre Town Hall. The result was the City Hall Wall Clock, a modern design classic. The clock is made of aluminum and glass, the glass front is concave and gives the wall clock a floating effect when placed on the wall. The clock is available in three sizes, 21 Ø, 29 Ø and 16 Ø, and is still manufactured according to the original drawings. Rosendahl Timepieces Copenhagen have been producing Arne Jacobsen clocks since 2009 with great success.
