Jason Miller both founded Roll Hill and designed numerous lamps for the brand, including Castle 9-01. The lamp has nine glass tubes, six short ones centered and three long ones placed horizontally, which makes the lamp look good over, for example, elongated tables.
Castle is a collection of nine lamps in various sizes. The name does not come from the English word castle, despite the tower-like shapes of the lamps. Instead, the name is taken from chess, where a well-known move is called castling. Castling means that the piece can jump as far as it likes and move straight up, down, left or right. Just as this move refers to, the Castle lamp comes in different lengths but always with its glass tubes placed horizontally or vertically.
Smoked, clear or cream-colored glass. Finished in black, bronze, polished nickel or brushed brass.
