The Hobo pendant lamp is designed by Gustaf Nordenskiöld for Örsjö Belysning. Hobo is a clear example of true craftsmanship and is made of opaque, mouthblown glass blown in Mickejohan's glassworks in Stockholm. Surrounding the glass dome is a basket made of raw brass into which the glass is blown straight down, expanding into its final shape.
The name Hobo comes from Småland, the rag-and-bone trade and the origins of the glassworks, where hobos twisted metal wires to make quirky objects. A characteristic of Hobo is the importance of detail, which becomes apparent because visible bolts and heavy rope are present. Hobo looks stylishly elegant wherever it is hung and is available in two sizes, one small and one large. In our range you will also find the Hobo Wall and Floor Lamp.
