The Sine Stool is designed by Note Design Studio for the European design brand NINE. The outdoor stool is part of the Sine collection, which consists of several high-quality and modern outdoor furniture in stainless steel. The collection is built to last for many years and therefore has a strong resistance to rust. The name comes from the fluid sweep of the mathematical sine wave. The outdoor furniture is made from a single continuous line of robust stainless steel sheets that are simply draped over the frame. The shape is inspired by classic Swedish outdoor furniture and provides high comfort and bounce.
Note Design Studio was founded by Johannes Carlström and Cristiano Pigazzini in 2008. The Stockholm-based design collective is known for its collaborative spirit and has projects ranging from architecture and interior design to product design.
