New Works Lantern Globe is a range of lamps by design duo Anderssen Voll here in the form of a floor lamp. The collection is a supplement to the original range from in 2015, which then consisted only of a pendant in three sizes. Today, the collection includes everything from ceiling and pendant lamps to table lamps on stands. In 2020, New Works launched Lantern Globe as both a floor lamp and a table lamp, sharing the same basic design principle, with only the diameter differentiating them.Anderssen Voll drew inspiration from traditional Chinese rice lamps when they designed the New Works Lantern Globe, to which the beautifully patterned lampshade refers. However, they opted for a more robust choice of materials, where the entire range comes with a milky white frosted opal glass shade. This in turn contrasts nicely with the discreet black powder-coated steel base.
