La Roche is the first wine glass lamp designed by the legendary architect, designer and artist Le Corbusier. Today it is produced by the Italian lighting company Nemo Lighting. Like Le Corbusier's architecture, the lamp is characterised by its clean lines. La Roche is made of metal painted in a matt, grey or black color. Behind the glass shade is a modern, environmentally friendly LED light bulb, unlike the original which had a traditional bulb. Thanks to TRIAC, the lamp is also dimmable. The name La Roche comes from Le Corbusier's building Villa La Roche in Paris. The lamp was designed to be used inside the building; they share several common features in terms of their minimalist and functionalist expression.
