The Danish Naver Collection was established in 1995 by a merger of the Aksel Kjersgaard and Gramrode Møbelfabrik furniture factories. Furniture is produced in both factories, and between the owners there is a long history of traditional craftsmanship and carpentry.

Naver Collection produces furniture with the philosophy of “The Elegance of Power”, an expression that stands for beautiful, solid craftsmanship in combination with modern furniture architecture. The brand produces furniture that is meant to be used, while exuding elegance. Naver stands as much for Scandinavian carpentry tradition as for new design and trends.

Pride in detail and quality

The brand has collaborated with a number of prominent designers over the years, including Søren Nissen and Ebbe Gehl, Henrik Lehm and Hans Sandgren Jakobsen. These collaborations have resulted in pieces such as the Strawberry coffee table, the Plank dining table and the Tiger chair. The name Naver means carpenter. In the past, a carpenter learned the trade of carpentry in return for food and housing. Today, the brand still carries the craftsmanship tradition of that time and manufactures furniture for generations to come.

The Naver Collection’s range includes a variety of tables and chairs that are extremely popular. The Plank GM 3200 dining table is a stylish table, perfect for the modern home. Turning Boxes is a set of drawers with a difference, consisting of 10 drawers that can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally and individually. This piece of furniture is a work of art and sculpture as well as a functional set of drawers, designed in 2015 by Hans Sandgren.

The Naver Collection manufactures furniture according to the motto “We take pride in every detail”. This means the utmost importance is placed on the materials used, and quality control is exercised throughout the manufacturing process, from the first drawing to the finished piece of furniture.
