Visu Chair - Wood Base is a wooden chair designed by Mika Tolvanen in 2012 for the Danish brand Muuto. The chair is made with a solid wood base in a choice of varnished ash or varnished oak and a matching veneer seat. Visu Chair - Wood Base comes with or without a bright seat in a choice of shades. The different variants can easily be combined to add color to your home or matched with each other and other interiors.
When Tolvanen designed the chairs, the aim was to create an understated and contemporary chair that would feel familiar to the viewer and the user. At the same time, he did not want to sacrifice the function or ergonomics of the chair and, after a few years of work, Visu Chair - Wood Base was ready to sit on.
