The Wok Pan Sheet Iron is designed by the French family business Mauviel. The wok pan is easy to use and therefore perfect for everyday cooking. It is made of sheet iron, which is a lighter material that can quickly rise in temperature and maintains even heat. It is therefore not advisable to simmer food in the pan. Thanks to the choice of material, the sauté pan does not get sticky easily and you therefore do not need to use as much fat when cooking. Prepare the wok pan before first use by pouring a little olive oil into the pan. Turn the heat to high and let it simmer. When the olive oil smokes, drain and wipe the pan with paper towels. Repeat several times to create a protective coating for the wok pan.
