With a love of scent, craftsmanship and Britishness
Jo Malone Home is one of the pillars of Jo Malone London, founded in 1983 by the woman of the same name, and is one of the most luxurious brands of British scented candles. They became a huge success in a short space of time due to their quality fragrances, which many believe have achieved iconic status.
With their heart and production in places like Hampshire and the South Downs, Jo Malone London creates products for the home that are characterised by their love of the British and the eccentric. They have hardly been known to compromise on their production.
So why not create a place where lovely scents make life and living feel a little more luxurious and a little more eccentric?
The majority of the products, not least the scented candles, are handmade through a long process which ends with their distinctive packaging consisting of the silver lid for the glass, a stylish and recyclable box which is topped and enclosed by their well-known bow tie.
For those who see scented candles a little more as an interior detail, there is also their Townhouse Collection consisting of scented candles and diffusers made of unglazed ceramics that unashamedly flirt with the luxury and decadence of the British 18th century.
In other words, scented candles make the perfect gift for yourself or someone else, especially as we spend more and more time in the home and understand the value of making it cosy. In Scandinavia, we are used to the fact that there are several flexible shelving systems and storage solutions to choose from, where different parts can be used to customise something that covers all everyday needs. Many people have grown up with shelving systems such as String or Elfa, which have achieved their popularity thanks to an extremely well thought-out design, good choice and relatively easy assembly. However, it is all the more difficult to get a shelving system to suit everyone's needs in terms of different styles, which therefore leaves plenty of room for competition.

Modernist masterpiece: The Eames case study house no. 8
1940s design America belonged to the husband-and-wife team of Charles and Ray Eames, whose playful and experimental approach to design created a whole new topology of furniture in innovative materials. The couple also designed their home, a modernist gem in Pacific Palisades, with room for great personality.
