In 1921 the first Lampe Gras was designed and since the French DCW éditions took over production, they have also made a series of ceiling wall lamps with the classic design. The No210 wall lamp consists of a 78 cm high steel base attached to the wall. An arm is attached to the base on which the shade is placed. The shade is made of coated aluminum or pure copper. The No210 makes a good bedside table and is equally at home alone or in pairs.
Bernard-Albin Gras gave the lamp an industrial look and no screws or welded joints were used in its creation, which is still a feature of Lampe Gras today.
Please note that copper is a natural material and that the raw copper version is delivered without surface treatment. As it is untreated, patina will occur over time and depending on where the product is placed. The raw copper will also look different as the process progresses and the copper has a more even tarnish.
