The Saarinen Collection is a collection of tables designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1957. The collection includes the tables Round Table and Oval Table, also called Tulip Table, in several models, such as dining tables, side tables and coffee tables. The tables have an elegant pillar base made of die-cast aluminum which is combined with a round or oval table top. The board is produced in a number of variants, in several types of marble, acrylic stone, wood or laminate. Acrylic stone is also suitable for outdoor use. The foot is lacquered with Rilsan and is available in white or black. Each table is stamped with "the KnollStudio" logo, as well as Eero Saarinen's signature. Eero Saarinen is a Finnish architect and furniture designer who made himself known for, among other things, the Tulip Chair and other acclaimed furniture for Knoll. Among classic tables, the Round Table by Eero Saarinen is considered one of the foremost. Although the table was created in the 1950s, it is very much a modern table.
