Aledin Tec is a desk lamp created by Alberto and Francesco Meda for Kartell in 2016. The lamp is available in two different versions: Tec and Dec, with the diffuser being what distinguishes them. Aledin Tec has a flat head that provides a more direct light that can also be adjusted thanks to the movable diffuser. These characteristics make it suitable for office use while Aledin Dec which has a higher head spreads a wider and more atmospheric light more suitable for reading lamps.
Aledin has two articulated arms in polycarbonate with aluminum rods that form the structure of both lamps. Both models are available in five different colors and have a round base. Aledin comes with a high-performance LED lamp with low energy consumption.
