Can 1 Seater is designed by the brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Danish HAY. The armchair simplified upholstered furniture that can usually be quite complicated to transport and assemble. The armchair is therefore packaged in flat packs that are easily assembled at home from three basic elements - frame, upholstery, and cushions. The Can 1 Seater has a voluminous shape within the sleek steel frame that is upholstered in a contrasting fabric. The combination of the soft, inviting feel and the curved steel seat results in a modern piece of furniture with lots of character. The cushions and seat are filled with foam and springs for high comfort. HAY allows you to choose between white linen canvas or black cotton canvas as the base and from a wide selection of colors and textures for the cushions' upholstery. The base of the armchair also comes in different options - chrome-plated or black lacquered steel.

Can 1 Seater is also available as a 2 seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa in the same design. Over the years, the French designer brothers have created several acclaimed pieces of furniture, accessories, and fittings for some of the world's most exclusive brands. Their lamps are now in several major museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in London.
