Satellite was designed in 1953 by Mathieu Matégot, and is now after 70 years in production by the Danish brand Gubi. The lamp is made of perforated steel and has two oval-shaped shades mounted on a long metal arm. The Satellite wall lamp can also be mounted on the ceiling, the two precisely balanced arms crossing and overlapping each other in a beautiful way. Thanks to the generous length of the arms, the lamp has been designed to be packed away for easy transport. At Gubi you can also find Satellite as pendulum lamp.
