The PK11 from Fritz Hansen was created in 1957 and is one of Poul Kjærholm's most complex chair designs. Originally created to complement the PK51 work table in an exclusive set, it works equally well on its own. PK11 combines horizontal and vertical lines for the frame with softly rounded shapes for the seat and armrests. The frame is made of satin-brushed stainless steel and the backrest of natural ash. The seat is lightweight and available in a choice of colors. The combination of hard and soft materials and the well-balanced design make PK11 an attractive chair, as comfortable as it is beautiful to look at.
