Series 7 has an attractive curved shell where the seat and backrest are created in one piece using a technology that was revolutionary for its time. Nine layers of veneer and two layers of Indian cotton have been molded into their correct shape over steam. This has given the chair its comfortable flexibility and delicate silhouette. The shell is available in a variety of materials and finishes. The chair has delicate legs made of chrome-plated steel and is stackable up to twelve chairs high.
