The Tartan pendant light is made of blue glass in white or gray. It is created by the couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba for Italian Foscarini. It is also available in non-dimmable and dimmable versions with LED light. The lamp is also available with an extra-long cable. The graphic pattern creates an appearance of light and shadows.

The inspiration for Tartan comes from the tartan fabric of woven kilts. To bring out the checkered pattern in the lamp, a mouth-blowing technique has been used to create the fine lines in the glass.
