Chasen is a ceiling light designed by Patricia Urquiola for Italian Flos in 2007. Chasen is a hanging lamp for diffused lighting. The frame is chemically photo-etched in stainless steel and the shade is made of borosilicate glass. The lamp is protected by liquid paint. The base is made of die-cast aluminum, 30% fiberglass reinforced polyamide ceiling cup mounted on a pressed galvanized steel ceiling fixture.
In this version, the lamp allows you to change the shape and expression with mechanical movements that open the shades, changing the fixtures position. The cable from which the lamp is suspended is made of steel and FEP/PVC cord in the same color as the fixture. The lamp is available in white and black. A classic lamp that fits both as a stylish element above the kitchen table, in the bedroom or why not in the hallway.
