Mano, a deep red ceramic vase from Cassina, carries a story of artistic genius from the 1960s. Designed by Ico and Luisa Parisi as part of the Impronta collection, it exudes the influences of the pop art of the time and is the result of a painstaking collaboration with Roberta Lietti, curator of the Ico Parisi Design Archives. Mano has a striking shape - a cylinder with a mouth-like opening and a stem outlined by a hollow hand. In addition, there is a pin tray in the shape of an open hand, perfect for storing small objects with subtle elegance. Made of hand-decorated glazed ceramic, this creation captures both attention and admiration with its powerful visual and color presence, reflecting a time when material experimentation was the focus of the design world.
