LC6 Outdoor is an outdoor table designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for the Italian brand Cassina. The table has a frame consisting of stainless steel that can be chosen in several powder-coated finishes. The tabletop is made of Carrara marble. The LC6 table was first launched in 1929 at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, and was born from an idea about the difference between the support and what is supported, i.e. the base and the table top. The separation of the parts is emphasized by the four intermediate structures. Both adjust the height and help keep the right distance between the heavy base and delicate table top. The undercarriage was designed in 1928 and features the oval profiles used in aviation design to keep the distance between the wings and the biplane.
To maintain the quality of the marble slab, it is recommended to regularly use a protective treatment. If you wish to buy marble treatment from Cassina, please contact us.
