529 Rio is a coffee table designed by Charlotte Pierrand in 1962 for Cassina. The table is in the I Maestri collection and has been produced since the 1960s. Perriand designed the table especially for Jacques Martin's residence in Rio, hence the name. But later also a larger version for the Japanese embassy in Paris. The table consists of six sections, like pieces of cake asymmetrically assembled, and gives an exciting impression in the environment in which it is placed.
Choose between three beautiful versions with top plate in Vienna straw or white Carrara marble to natural oak wood, alternatively a black version with Marquina marble and black stained oak wood.
