BK17 is an A-framework for BK13 Hammock for outdoor use, designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959 for Danish Carl Hansen & Søn. The A-frame is made of untreated teak. The matching hammock creates a unified look where seat cushions are also available to buy separately for greater comfort. The seat cushions are weatherproof and available in two different colours. BK17 will acquire a beautiful patina over the years thanks to its solid wood construction. The A-frame of the Hammock belongs to the original collection designed in 1959 by Bodil Kjær. The collection includes several pieces of outdoor furniture, all of which are characterised by the first-class feel in terms of craftsmanship and simplicity.
