Gråsippa Väktkärl, designed by Signe Persson-Melin for the brand Byarums Bruk, is the result of the designer's long-term passion for gardening. As a ceramicist, Persson-Melin has created a variety of shapes in earthenware and stoneware, but these materials have not survived the Swedish winter without cracking. She found the solution in sand-cast aluminum – a material that withstands the stresses of the climate. The designer has named the vessel, inspired by the soft shape of the flower of the gray sedge. The design includes a finishing collar that makes the smaller sizes easy to move, while the larger size is more stationary, perfect for planting an entire tree. This combination of durability, functionality and aesthetics makes the plant container an excellent choice for garden enthusiasts looking for quality solutions for their plants.
