The Mandrillus Vase is a decorative vase from the Italian ceramics brand Bosa and comes in two designs. The vase was designed in 2017 by Elena Salmistraro and belongs to the Primates collection. The vase is hand painted by artists in colors from the brand's own color palette. It is made of high-quality ceramic and decorative metals and has a glazed surface. The design language is dynamic, and the inspiration comes from the monkey genus Brazza markattan.

The collection reminds us of the relationship between humans and our closest relative, the monkey. With the design, Elena Salmistraro wants to reflect on similarities in body language, facial expression, and movement. The first collection was shown in 2017 at Maison&Objet and included vases. The inspiration for the design comes from three different genera of monkeys, the mandrill, the golden markatta and the brazzas markatta. The elegant vases fit equally well on a table or a chest of drawers and are a decorative interior detail.
