38.6V Floor is an exclusive floor lamp from the Canadian lighting company Bocci, designed by Omer Arbel. The lamp has a frame in untreated brass or black metal with a rubberized surface that has a silky smooth finish. The lamp is 180 cm high and is equipped with six lightbulbs surrounded by glass domes. The blue glass domes have been made with a series of random internal cavities that interlock in an unobtrusive manner. The inner cavities can be filled with water or left empty. In the standard version, the 38.6V Floor has outer spheres made of clear glass while the inner spheres with cavities are made of milk-white glass. Soft and pleasant light spreads through the unique glass domes. For added functionality, the textile cord is strung to 38.6V Floor and fitted with a stylish brass dimmer. If you are looking for a smaller fixture with a similar design to this one, Bocci also offers the 38.3V Floor model, which comes in heights of 90 and 180 cm.
