Papilio Shell Chair is a chair developed by designer Naoto Fukasawa for Italian B&B Italia in 2015. Papilio means feather in Italian, and it is the shape of a feather's wings that inspired the soft shape of the shell. Papilio Shell Chair is both comfortable and beautiful to look at, choose from several assorted color combinations between shell and legs.
The chair is equally at home in the dining room or in the office. The Papilio Shell Chair is a successor to the popular chair of the same name and is available in a variety of versions, as a dining chair or desk chair.
