It will be relaunched in 2022 together with The Penguin Rocking Chair and The Penguin Lounge Chair, in the same iconic design. When Ib Kofod-Larsen designed the chair, he started from the person sitting in it. The design is sleek and elegant with a curved back and an angled seat, creating a comfortable chair and maximum comfort. As the name suggests, the design is inspired by the silhouette of a penguin, creating a playful rocking chair that combines clean, soft lines with solid craftsmanship. The Penguin Rocking Chair is equally at home in the living room or bedroom, and becomes part of modern Danish design history.
