Mogens Lassen designed the very first Kubus candle holder in 1962 for the interior of a restaurant in northern Zealand, Denmark, and it is now manufactured by Audo Copenhagen. The geometric candle holder series has since become a much-loved icon of Danish design thanks to its timeless, Modernist form and enduring function.
