The floor lamp Minomushi was designed by Issey Miyake and Reality Lab in 2012. Minomushi is made of PET, methacrylate, steel and polycarbonate. Despite the fact that the oblong floor lamp measures 210.5 cm, it can, via the structure of the recycled material together with its treated surface, stand without frames and thus also be folded if you wish to store it conveniently. The design has been done with 3D techniques that produced the construction that makes light and shadows harmoniously switch between each other.

Minomushi is also available as a pendant lamp and is part of the IN-EI ISSEY MIYAKE collection that was born when Artemide collaborated with Reality Lab. IN-EI means shadow in Japanese and the project is based on the intersection between creativity and mathematics.
